Hello everyone and welcome back from summer holidays! I hope you all had a summer of rest, fun, and good memories. For those of you who are new to the school, my name is Renée and I am the language assistant for secondary this year. This is my second year at the school and couldn’t be happier to be back for another year at Nuestra Señora del Pilar. Last year was a very positive experience for me and hope we can make the most of this year as well.
This summer I was fortunate enough to return to Toronto, Canada (my hometown) for 5 weeks to visit with family and friends. I was also able to spend two weeks in Valladolid at an English summer camp, experiencing some time outside of the big city and enjoying nature.
In English, we’ll keep working on building confidence when speaking, improving our writing skills, and exploring stories and topics that make learning fun. My goal is for everyone to feel comfortable expressing themselves in English, while also enjoying the process. I’m excited to see what we can accomplish together this year!
